For Patients

Your Initial Appointment

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to you appointment time to complete a new patient registration form.

What to bring to your initial appointment

Consults

Initial patient appointments are typically allocated 30 minutes.

Follow-up appointments are typically allocated 15 minutes

While we respect our patients’ schedules and always endeavour to see patients on time, the duration of consults cannot always be predicted and unexpected delays or cancellations may occur due to medical emergencies. In the unlikely event of significant delays, we will contact you and keep you updated as best as we can.

Consult Fees

Dr Yao’s consult fees are in line with the Australia Medical Association and industry standards. The consult fee is required to be paid in full at the conclusion of your appointment. We accept EFTPOS or credit card (Mastercard, Visa) payments. Cheque and cash are not accepted.

Part of your consult fee will be reimbursed by Medicare and our administrative team will assist you with this. The Medicare reimbursement requires a valid GP referral so please bring this to your initial appointment.

Cancellation Policy

Please kindly contact us via phone or email should you need to change to or cancel your appointment.
